How to Unlock Social Media Success in 2024

Social media can be nothing short of frustrating when you’re a busy business owner who has too much on their plate. It’s easy to lose sight of what really matters on social media. In this blog we’re diving into the best social media practices for business owners right now.

Speak Like a Human

You can leave behind all that sales talk. What you do need is to talk like yourself. The best way to do that is to picture clearly that person on the other side of the screen who is taking in your content. The best way to get really clear on who that person is, is through your brand and a clear target audience. 

Your followers will appreciate and respond to you being your true self! It’s time to lean into relatable. 

Make Community Your Focus

Social media is social for a reason! We often forget that, since there are so many strategies and experts out there on social media and digital marketing. But no matter how great your strategy is, or what advice you’re taking for your business’ online presence, you have to engage with your community. This can look like commenting on social posts, interacting with stories, asking genuine questions and following people you are interested in. You have to give to get!

Ask Your Audience What They Want

Have you ever wondered what your community is wanting from you or your content? Have you ever asked them? Asking is a powerful and free way to understand what your community wants and what questions they have. Then, you can take what your audience says and turn it into endless pieces of content!

Always Be Listening

Actively listening means paying attention to what your audience says and making changes to your content based on their feedback. A great way to see what’s working and what’s not is to analyze your metrics. I recommend doing this on a monthly basis. This is a great way to see gaps in your content where you can be answering questions that your audience is already asking. 

Use these four simple tips to better your social media efforts and make what you’re currently doing go further.
